Rumor: iPhone 4G is a 5-megapixel camera from LG

The new iPhone 4G is probably equipped with a 5 megapixel camera. The Chosun Ilbo of South Korea reported the production of the camera by LG Innotek. The cameras of previous iPhones are manufactured by Omnivision.Competing devices such as the Nexus One of Google already provide resolutions of 5 megapixels.

The iPhone 3G was equipped with a 2 megapixel camera, the camera in the current iPhone 3 GS offers a resolution of 3.2 megapixels. According to rumors from Apple equips the next-generation iPhone with a 5 megapixel camera.
